RESEARCH

I conducted my first research project for the MS (Ortho) Degree as it was a requirement of the course. The results of the use of a square nail for radius and ulna shaft fracture were analyzed in a study of 50 cases.

The research topic for my DNB (Ortho) Diplomate of National Board Degree was interlock nailing for subtrochantric fracture of femur. Results, including complications, were analyzed in a study of 50 cases.

During my first year in UK, I conducted a study of 100 cases of fracture neck of femur with respect to previous osteoporotic fracture / previous anti-osteoporotic treatment / previous dexa scan. This study was accepted by the University of Liverpool for M.Ch. (Ortho) degree.

Currently I am a principal investigator for the study of collagen type 1 peptide in the use of tendinopathy.

I am also associated with a study of freedom-400 (survivorship of TKR study) as an investigator.

I am a reviewer for the Indian journals like Indian Journal of Orthopaedics (reviewed 39 manuscripts), Journal of Clinical Orthpaedics and Trauma and international journals like Reconstructive Review and Archives of Clinical Informatics.
